E aqui a data não passou em branco, James me ligou hoje a tarde dizendo que tinha feito reserva em um restaurante pra hoje a noite. Ganhei um jantar no Chima, a mais nova churrascaria em Philadelphia. Do I need to say I loved it?

5 years ago: em julho de 2003 pisava pela primeira vez em solo Americano. Mal sabia eu que a estadia iria ser bem mais longa do que prevista

1 year ago: preparando a nossa viagem a Nantucket.

Yesterday: trabalhei, tentei estudar, li um pouco, assisti televisão.

We never won anything, actually I did, when I was younger I went to a Rotary bingo with my mom and among O Boticário kits, eletronics, git certificates to use at the mall, I won a corn cake and fatia (a type of soft, sweet bread), donated by a bakery, so you can imagine how excited I was when we left, right? Of course my mom was laughing at me all the way home, but at the end she liked having the goodies at breakfast next day!

So to my biggest surprise, when James went to pick me up last Friday at work he had this letter with him! I confess that I still don't believe that Duke won the pet contest by Febreze! We are so happy and proud of him, you guys can't believe!

Thank you so much whoever voted for him and helped us win this! And now we have a big decision to make: where to go? I guess I will open a poll and maybe you guys can decide for us, because each day we talk about a different destination: Canada, Peru, several trips in the USA, northeast Brazil, Japan, China, Europe, South Africa, Egypt, oh my God, the world is too big!
